Letters Between Two Sisters

Dear Lorinda,

Sorry you weren't having a very good day. Hopefully things are looking up now.

I'm ashamed to say that yesterday we had the most beautiful weather and the only time I was outside was going to and from the car for church. Jud and I really need to get some furniture for our deck so on days like that I can sit outside and really enjoy it. The good news is that today is supposed to be another great day with the weather, so after JT gets up from his nap we will definitely enjoy some time outside!

I hate to say this, but going to church is hard these days. Little JT is too young for nursery so I spend most of the time at church chasing him around, and it's so hard to get anything out of the talks and lessons. I struggle even more knowing that it's going to be a long time before I do get to sit through and enjoy church since it probably won't be long after JT is in nursery that I'll be having another baby. And it will continue to happen that way for several years probably. How did you manage to get through that phase in your life without letting it get you down?

Can you believe that Thanksgiving is NEXT WEEK? How on earth did that happen? And what's even crazier is that only a month after that, it will be Christmas! I am pretty sure that this year has gone by faster than any other year of my life. But I do enjoy the holiday season, so I'm happy that it's here again. Decorating is so much fun. Although I will probably be a little more limited because of JT. I don't think he's the kind to let Christmas ornaments adorn a Christmas tree without wanting to rip them all off. Either way, I love this time of year!
